It seems like just yesterday I was on selection hoping to get chosen, but now, 50 days untill blast off, everything is starting to feel oh so real. I broke the ₤3000 fundraising border yesterday which was an amazing feeling, however I can't help but think, I still have over ₤1500 to raise. Nevertheless, I still remain my ever-optimistic-self. Aaaaaaaa, I say, I've only got to retake my final exams, and raise a shed load money, and organise things like bank accounts, flights to England and packing allowances amongst other things, how hard could it be?
I have moments where everything starts to cristilize, I realise that I will not being seeing my family and friends for near enough a year, then I stop realising what I'm leaving, and start to realise that I am going to be spending the year in one of the most geographically and culturally diverse countries in the world. Incredible. I going to return a completly different person, more socially aware and independant. And more importantly I will be 19 years of age having learnt the skill of teaching. Project Trust is going to change my life forever.
